Most of the items can be viewed 'up close' without any barriers between you and the history on display, just like the item above, a headstone from the grave of a young child dated at the year of 7AD, which shows the child with his favourite possession of a hen and also holding what appears to be a pet cat. Amazing detail, just as the mosaic floor on display below, great stuff and we look forward to our next break over there!

Bordeaux museum 2
